It is with heartbreaking sadness that we announce the passing of Roberta (Bobbi) Louise Abrey (née Wolff) on March 16, 2025, at the age of 80, following a short illness.
Roberta is cherished by her loving husband of 61 years, Carman; her two children, April (Ed Fournier) and Kelly. She will be forever missed and remembered by extended members of the Abrey, Wolff and Stratton families as well as by the many friends she made during her 61 years living in the Moose Jaw area.
Roberta loved to spend time with her family and friends, whether it was travelling in the RV, camping, fishing, playing games or just sitting in the sunshine and enjoying the warmth. Despite visual limitations, Roberta pursued many hobbies – painting, knitting and crocheting, sewing and even water-skiing at one time. She loved to make afghans and scarfs for her family, although Kelly had to untangle her a few times. In her later years, she discovered the joy of audio books and was an avid reader.
Until we meet again, Roberta is being looked after by her mother, Mary, her father, Frank, and her brother Eugene. Please take good care of her.
We would like to thank the nurses at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital and the Regina General Hospital for taking such good care of Roberta. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
At Roberta’s request, there will be no funeral or celebration of life at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
