SHERRY JOAN PULVERMACHER
Sherry Joan Pulvermacher, a beloved and feisty soul from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 22nd, 2024, at the age of 66 years. She lived life on her own terms and was known for her quick wit, tough love, and unwavering dedication to her family and her cherished dogs, who were often the only ones who truly listened without interrupting.
Sherry was the proud and fiercely protective mother of three children: Eva, Shawn and Adam, each as unique and spirited as she was. Though life threw challenges her way, raising her "chaos crew" with three different fathers, she managed it with a mixture of grit, humour, and old-school discipline that only she could master.
Sherry was one of five equally eccentric and headstrong sisters, and together they formed a sisterhood unlike any other. In her later years, she shared her home and her heart with her three spinster sisters: Gwen, Linda, and Beryl, each bringing their own quirks and flair to their lively household. Through thick and thin, they cared for one another with an irreverent sense of humour and a steadfast bond that only true family can understand.
She was predeceased by her mother, Jean, whose unmatched brand of craziness left an indelible mark on all her daughters as well as the grandchildren. She lost her brothers, a sister, her parents, grandchildren, dogs, and past lovers, in which she had shrines for everyone of them.
Sherry leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience: her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, and her precious dogs. Whether she was wrangling her kids, her dogs, or her sisters, she did so with a level of determination and grit that will not soon be forgotten. Her family and friends will forever cherish the wild stories, the hard-learned lessons, and the unforgettable moments shared with this one-of-a-kind woman.
A Celebration of Sherry’s Life will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Moose Jaw Funeral Home, where stories and memories will be shared in true Cheesman, fashion—loudly and with lots of laughs.
Rest in peace, Mom.
You were a force to be reckoned with and will be deeply missed.
