It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Ritchie Dale Ross, who passed away peacefully, with his wife and stepdaughter by his side, on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025. While we are devastated by his loss, we find comfort knowing he is no longer in pain.
Ritchie was more than just a husband and stepfather, he was a father, a friend, and an irreplaceable part of our family. His love, gentleness, and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Ritchie is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Jody Reid; son, Jeff Wiebe; grandchildren, Cody (Melissa) Reid and Shelby Reid; and great-granddaughter, Peityn Reid. He absolutely adored Susan’s siblings: Mike, Tommy, and Robin; along with James, Joey, and Wayne; Lori; and all his friends in B.C and Moose Jaw, SK. His love for them was something special, and they were all such a big part of his life.
Ritchie was truly the gentlest soul, and we will cherish every moment he shared with us. Rest in peace, Ritchie. You will always be loved and missed, and your spirit will live on in all of us.
We would love to extend our gratitude to all the staff at Providence Place and Dr. Vermaak for their exceptional care of Ritchie.
A Private Family Service will be held to honour Ritchie.
