CROWTHER

It is with much sadness that the family of Peggy Anne Crowther announce her unexpected passing at the Regina Pasqua Hospital on September 19, 2024, at the age of 70.

Peggy was born on May 23, 1954, in Hodgeville, SK to parents Wilhelmina (Minnie) Sthamann and Michael Sikorski. She grew up in Chaplin, SK and continued to reside there after marrying Barry Crowther, also of Chaplin, SK, where they raised their two daughters, Sandra and Patricia.

Peggy was universally loved. Anyone who met her was always made to feel welcome. She loved spending time with her many friends whether it be for morning coffee, playing cards at the Chaplin Library, or a casino trip. She also loved her family. She adored her ‘surrogate’ grand-children Nevaeh and Ella Fehr, and Zennon and Jensen Alexanderson treasuring all the times she got to be with them. Holidays were spent with as many family members as possible. Even if she was unable to see family and friends as often as she’d have liked, they were always in her heart and thoughts, and she did her best to keep in touch with them all.

Peggy is predeceased by her parents, sister Rose Guy, sister Joyce Fjaagesund, brother Jim Sthamann, and brother-in-law Bill Bil. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 53 years Barry, her daughters Sandra (Terry Gabel) Crowther and Patricia Crowther, Tina Lang, sister Michelle (Jim) Alexanderson, sister-in-law Joanne Sthamann, sister-in-law Donna Bil, sister-in-law Diane Crowther, brother-in-law Keith Fjaagesund, brother-in-law Gary Guy, nieces Darlene Guy, Shandel (Brad) Fehr, Jaimie (Jeff) Bailey, Teresa Nicholson, Crystal Davy, Erin Bil, and nephews Duane (Sheila) Guy, Yancy (Jess Halstead) Alexanderson, Michael (Kim) Alexanderson, Michael (Christine) Fjaagesund, Geoff (Jai) Bil, Brian Bil, Todd (Negar) Crowther, Dustin Crowther, Calvin Andres, and Connie Andres. She will also be missed by numerous great-nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

A Celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chaplin Community Hall in Chaplin, SK. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Andrew Pratt, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
